What's the process for ordering a table?

  1.  Go to our Etsy Page page, letting us know what it is you're looking for. 

  2. Someone from our team will contact you and gather more information.

  3. A formal quote will be written up, thoroughly discussed and agreed upon.

  4. Payment 1 will be issued

  5. Work will begin on your custom table. 

  6. Upon completion of the table, Payment 2 will be issued.

  7. The table will be shipped to your home or business. 

Can I just request a quote? 

Absolutely. We'd be happy to provide you with with a free quote for a custom table. Easiest way is to send is an E-Mail and include details on what you're looking for. We'll be in touch. Thanks.  

What is your return policy?

New Life works side-by-side with our customers throughout the design and build of each of our custom tables, ensuring that our customers receive their perfect table. We work through many iterations of the formal quote with the buyer and also prefer to speak with you on the phone to make sure all details are accounted for.  

Because each table is made for a specific customer and because we work painstakingly hard to outline and document each detail, we do not accept returns but will try out best to remedy any situation in which you are not happy. We realize these are big purchases, which is why we pride ourselves on open communication, integrity and workmanship. 

What are the payment options?

Why is there a 2-payment structure to ordering a table? 

Because these are large tables that have considerable 'up-front' material costs, the payment structure at New Life has historically consisted of 2 separate payments. The first payment will be exchanged when details on the table are finalized and the quote is agreed upon and signed by the buyers. This first payment is for the cost of materials only. Then, work will begin on your table. Once the table is completed and prior to shipment, the balance (second payment) will be requested after communication with the buyer. 

How long will it take for me to get my table?

We will try our best to give you a rough estimate, and as your piece progresses, we will send you updates. Rough estimate unless told otherwise: 8+ weeks. Depending on our order volume, it may be weeks to months. If you didn't know by now, all of our pieces are custom. Meaning, they take a long time because they're built from scratch. Thanks for your understanding. Express orders available, just ask.

How does shipping work? 

Each table, once complete, is padded and packed on pallets and shipped to you via a tractor trailer freight truck. Expect 1-3 day shipping depending on where you live in the country. Shipping rates are always included in the quotes. These estimates are close, but not exact. Once an exact shipping price is known, the difference will be refunded to the buyer if the estimate was higher than the actual. In other words, we do not make money on shipping. 

Where is your workshop? 

All pieces are sourced, created, and shipped from New Life Woodworking's home in Rochester, NY.

What materials do you work with?

We have a love for repurposed bowling alleys. We also use large barn beams, thick hardwood stock, recycled gym flooring and box car flooring.
